About me

Arthur Cauty is an award nominated film director, camera operator and editor, with an impressive list of credentials across independent film, documentary, broadcast, theatre, corporate film, and music video.

Arthur has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry including World record breaking pop duo The Pet Shop Boys, ITV presenter and comedian Paul O'Grady, and the stars of World Wrestling Entertainment.

Notable projects include working as Assistant Director and 2nd Camera on the stage visuals for The Most Incredible Thing, a full length ballet for Sadler's Wells Theatre featuring a score by The Pet Shop Boys, and co-directing and producing the official music video for 'Nudist Priest' by Californian punk rockers Zebrahead (Sony BMG/Rude Records). The video was financed through crowd funding initiatives with IndieGoGo and sponsorship from the World's biggest online independent music channel BlankTV.

Hard Knocks, a documentary on professional wrestling, was Arthur's directorial debut, and featured stars from the WWE (formerly WWF) and TNA (iMPACT! Wrestling). The film played at numerous festivals before seeing a DVD release and broadcast on Sky TV, receiving a slew of critical acclaim from film and Television producers including the BBC and Royal Television Society.

Arthur has worked as editor and camera operator on the award winning coverage (Best Live Coverage 2011, Royal Television Society) of the Alpari World Match Racing Tour, the World's leading professional sailing series, broadcast on Sky Sports and CNBC Europe.

Arthur has also worked with the likes of BAFTA award winning film maker Tal Rosner, renowned producer Rosa Bosch (Lost in La Mancha, The Devil's Backbone), Miami's New World Symphony Orchestra, Lotus, B&W Films, Pink Banana Studios, Red Handed TV, De Facto Films, Ki Films, and leading charities including Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, Animal Aid and Legacy Trust UK.

Arthur grew up in South West England, which is where he embarked on his career in film.
