About me

As a photographer, I shoot to begin to understand. I want to know who people are, how they operate within their environment, and what forces create their framework. Nobody lives in a vacuum, and contextualizing the experiences of those I photograph is a priority in my work, even if I am highlighting only a segment of their lives.

I began my formal training in photography in 2007 at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology after completing two years at the University of Calgary in Religious Studies. I have recently completed another degree at York University in International Development Studies.
