About me

Annie is a theatre maker, puppeteer and illustrator based in Brighton. She makes work using knitting, textiles, found objects and even edible baked goods. She is the artistic director of Colossal Crumbs who make visual theatre to feed the imaginations of adults and children alike. Puppets are an important part of her work – enabling odd and eccentric creatures to come to life and frankly, to make it possible for a tomato to be the protagonist of a theatre show. She works regularly with Whalley Range All Stars, Strangeface, Gomito and Inconvenient Spoof.
