• I'm from Coventry and in the Warwick Arts Centre Youth Theatre. I'm hopefully going to be joining another as of September, as I think the more experience you can get, the better! I'd love to get involved with the Television Workshop, only they aren't offering places for Birmingham a the moment (which is annoying!). Although there are a reasonable amount of Youth Theatres in Cov, from what I've come across there isn't much opportunity for backstage, directing or film/TV stuff (it's quite Musical Theatre based). I also volunteer as a "shopkeeper" at Theatre Absolute, a company who have renovated a chip shop and turned it into a performance space. I like to keep busy! (By the sounds of it, so do you!)
  How did you get into things like ADing at the MAC summer school?
