About me

My preferred genre of art is Self Portraiture Photography, but perhaps not quite as you know it.

I have Borderline Personality Disorder and it has caused all kinds of havoc when I am not in a job I enjoy. Art is therapy for me - I transform into someone else for the camera, and it soothes my thoughts for a little while. I use make up, face paints and alternative materials to create my pieces.

My aim with art for the future is to help spread information and to educate others about mental health. There are so many people, of all ages, that struggle to express their emotions and as a result find self-destructive means to soothe their pain. My work is an example of how expressing these feelings in a positive and safe way can make all the difference to someone's life.
