• Hi Ed,
  Nice to hear that you liked “João e o Cão”. It was my first fiction as a director, so it was a lot of blood and sweat involved. Budgets are a tricky business and whatever budget I had it cannot be foreseen as an examples for anything that you will do in UK, even if in Sheffield or whatever. I had a lot of things free but as I shot in my hometown, I had (and wanted) to pay for all the crew’s hostels, food and travellings. So, with the rental of the camera and other stuff, I reached the 2000 euros easily.
  As I have no idea of the kind of story you want to shoot and all, I can’t really help you with it.

• Hi André
  I was looking at your videos on Vimeo and was inspired by your short film João e o Cão. Absolutley loved the style you shot in- I was hoping to do something similar in the summer, a ten minute film about children with special needs.
  I was wondering if it would be possible to know the budget you had for João e o Cão, and how you spent it. At the moment, I have only really been making music videos and short (2 minute) films, spending anything up to £150 for each project and was wondering how it compares.
