I started dance training at NSCD and graduated from Laban with a First Class Honours. At Laban, I worked with Struan Leslie and Matteo Fargion and also danced with Ffin Dance. I have choreographed work for Future Shorts film festival, “Dances with Love" as well as collaborated with visual artists Eddie Peake and Marnie Hollande. In 2009, I was an apprentice with Rosemary Lee. In 2010, I was a member of EDge, the post-graduate company of London Contemporary Dance School where I performed works by Rick Nodine (UK), Wally Cardona (USA), Frauke Requardt (Germany/UK), Darren Ellis (UK) and Yair Barelli (France/Israel). I was awarded an Arts Humanities and Research Council Studentship to fund my place. For most of 2012, I was found having conversations and dances with visitors to the Hayward Gallery, London, Haus Der Kunst, Munich and K20 Düsseldorf in 'production' by Xavier Le Roy and Mårten Spångberg and making my own work for various gallery spaces. I also formed an blog called The Shrinking Violets with Amanda Prince-Lubawy to offer a space for refection and debate about contemporary dance, its surrounding discourse and our own experiences.

Currently I am working on 'Project O' with Jamila Johnson-Small and 'Dad Dancing' with Rosie Heafford, Helena Webb and our Dads - David Adrian and Andy. I also edit BELLYFLOP magazine with 7 other fantastic dance artists, Jamila Johnson-Small, Gillie Kleiman, Flora Wellesley Wesley, Alice Mackenzie, Eleanor Sikorski, Louise Mochia and Charlotte Ashwell. We have been writers in residence at Dance Umbrella 2012 and recently curated two sell-out nights at Lilian Baylis Theatre as part of Sadler's Wells' Wild Card.
