Dear Ian, Aimee and Vanessa First of all - Congratulations of a beautiful piece of work, I found it really moving, the culmination of much thought and endeavour and then of course the inevitable last-minute scrimmage which made it all the more exciting to be at the first ever performance. Look forward very much to talking with you about it, but below please find a brief reflection jotted down whilst still fresh.... and written in an impersonal way so as to be - if required - useful. Its a starter really feel free to cut , amend, whatever. I...

I mean I could go on for ages but ........ The first performance of 'Science in the Sky' blew its audience away with its brilliance both as an investigative, imaginative, and provocatively written theatre piece, and for its beautifully balanced performances. Its two protagonists, Aimee and Vanessa, brought very different qualities to the mix, both playing to strength: Vanessa convincing as the senior scientist, impassioned, confrontational, articulate and erudite, convinced that solutions to over-whelming global crisis must be almost within our grasp if we could just find them; Aimee with a watery personal confusion, lost in space with an attachment to...

About me

As an actor I trained in Physical Theatre (3 years at the International School Of Corporeal Mime) I've studied acting with Sam Rumbelow for 2 years & I've been improvising for about 10 years. For the last 8 years, I have worked in site-specific performances with companies such as DreamThinkSpeak, Nutkhut Theatre & Moral Support, as well as working for fantastic museums (The Science Museum, The Natural History Museum and The Greenwich Observatory among others) in Science Communication roles and as an actor.

Now I work with Aimee Corbett and our theatre company 'Drawn To Stars'. I am a performer, writer and deviser and so is Aimee. In Edinburgh 2012 we presented our first play: Now.Here: a 2-hander about a performative walk we did in 2011, from Wales to London; on hobby horses. We recently developed a new play, Science In The Sly, which will tour through out 2015 while we develop some new pieces.
