During the three years I Series Produced Emmerdale, it had some of its highest profile storylines, which were recognised in 2006 by an RTS Award for Best Soap and by three consecutive BAFTA Nominations (2006-2009), and Soap Awards, Inside Soap Awards and TV Choice Awards.

The Emmerdale Online Channel was an incredible collaboration with Hoodlum and the first of its kind. It won the Broadcast Digital Channel Award in 2008 for “Best Use of Interactive” and the Horizon Interactive Gold Award 2008 for “Recognition for Excellence in Interactive Media Production”. It was also nominated for an International Interactive Emmy Award, RTS Award and BAFTA.

I also Produced Series 18 of Heartbeat, the popular prime time drama series for ITV. I Story Produced Eastenders, overseeing such highlights as the return of Sharon Watts and David Wicks. Stints Story Consulting on Hollyoaks and River City included completely revamping both the storytelling and the in house story and script systems, to resounding success each time, doubling the ratings.

I am now an Executive Producer and writer in Drama Development for Lime Pictures in London, specialising in returning series. A huge fan of television drama, a telly geek for as long as I can remember, I'm determined to be part of creating the kinds of shows that truly are an appointment to view.

As well as working for Lime Pictures, I am a Long Running Series Consultant for MediaCorp in Singapore, working with them to set up their first long form drama.

I am also a member of BAFTA and Women in Film and Television, and a mentor for the MA in Television Fiction Writing at Glasgow’s Caledonian University.
