About me

Hi! I'm Sion, a young Welsh actor from Cardiff trained at Guildhall graduating in summer 2012. I am also Co-founder of Invertigo Theatre Company.

Winners of Deutsche Bank Award for Creative Enterprises 2012
Winners of Scottish Daily Mail Award Commendation Prize 2013
Winners of Charlie Hartill Special Reserve Award 2013
Resident Company - HighTide Festival 2013

Set up by four Guildhall graduates in winter 2010, we are an audiencecentric theatre company and production house based in London Bridge, intent on representing the lesser-known – new writing, unique ways of storytelling and adaptations of lesser-known European work.

In our work we have collaborated with video artists, singers, composers and dancers, and are always looking to push our collaborations further both within and outside of the arts in order to create exciting and relevant new work.

Current productions:
MISCELLANY:
A SPEED DATE WITH LOVE IN ALL ITS GUISES
FRIDAY 14TH FEBRUARY, 7PM AND 8PM
SATURDAY 15TH FEBRUARY, 6.30PM AND 7.45PM
RICHMIX SHOREDITCH, 35-47 BETHNAL GREEN RD, LONDON, E1 6LA (SHOREDITCH HIGH STREET, OLD STREET)
Cupid invites you to his miscellany of the world’s greatest thoughts on this thing we call ‘love’.

Fusing poetry, songs, and letters, this intimate theatrical event takes you on a whistle-stop tour through what it means to love.

In a series of one-on-one encounters, meet a host of characters from different centuries, continents, and cultures as they share stories and reveal secrets. Come face to face with the exhilarating and the infuriating, experience the highs and the lows, confront the obsessive and the delightful, as you review and refine your definition of love with each unique interaction.

Commissioned by IdeasTap and RichMix.

Past and present productions include: Saer Doliau (Finborough Theatre) Seven (George Tavern) and Freefall (Barbican/Guildhall)

I have recently appeared in Outside On The Street (Pleasance/Arcola Theatre) A Soldier and a Maker (Cheltenham Festival), Diggers (Theatre 503) and Doctors (BBC).
