About me

I am a Director based in London.

I am Assistant Director at Soho Theatre, currently working on Death of A Comedian with Owen McCafferty, a co-production with Abbey Theatre and Lyric Theatre Belfast. At Soho Theatre I have assisted on Night Before Christmas and The One, was Associate Director for I Kiss Your Heart. In June I directed the Soho Young Playwright's Showcase which I will direct again in June.

I am co-founder of Whispering Beasts Theatre company which recently won the Deutsche Bank award for creative enterprises in drama. In April I am directing our production 'Act Without Words I. Catastrophe. Rough For Theatre II. Three Short Plays' by Samuel Beckett at Old Red Lion Theatre in Islington. Whispering Beasts are Resident Theatre Company at London Irish Centre where we are currently facilitating free drama workshops around the poetry and plays of W.B. Yeats (http://www.londonirishcentre.org/events/event/?event=199).

I am currently Director for the R and D of 'Alma', a new musical by Instant Classics Theatre Company.

I graduated from the Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris. Previously I received a first class degree in Directing at Trinity College, Dublin. I have also studied at The American Academy Of Dramatic Arts (AADA) in New York, where I specialised in American Drama and Musical Theatre.
