I'm a driven 22 year old dance artist originally from Chesterfield in the UK. I hold a current CRB disclosure and am highly interested in the community dance sector, focusing on a fun and engaging approach to creative dance. I graduated from Lincoln University UK with a BA (Hons) in Dance and am very interested in looking at confidence building creative classes that work with women and children’s empowerment charities in underprivileged areas internationally. My aim is to eventually build my own interdisciplinary studio space either back in the UK/Europe.

Although still only young, I have worked within a fun and energetic environment for over three years organizing and hosting children's parties. I am currently working and living in Shanghai teaching children's dance, yoga and rhythm classes, storytelling and creative movement as well as working as a rhythm and movement teacher at a bilingual kindergarten and an adult fitness instructor around Puxi and Pudong.

I have an extremely strong background volunteering in a variety of organisational roles within small and large scale art events in the UK. Here I took pride in providing outstanding customer service attending to both the needs of the artists with a great eye for detail as well as an empathetic approach to equally attend to the customers needs.

I have also taken on a number of professional development courses alongside attending regular contemporary class to aid my continuous development of skills needed for the dance sector and hope to build further networks for collaboration into the possibility of future community projects and work.
