This was a one day workshop in which the basics of being part of a crew were taught. I found this really informative as it covered a little bit of everything, from lighting, sound and stage in a festival environment as well as in a theatre environment. (Was definitely worth the nightmares about lights and microphones).

About me

I am a quirky, 19 year old Goth with one hand, (I was born without the lower 3rd of my left arm), with a love and passion for all things creative. I've grown up in a creative environment, so art, visual imagery and general arty chaos is in my blood.

In my early teens I was a member of a amateur theatre school, and therefore have participated in a number of theatre and dance shows/competitions. The experiences that I had here formed and built my interest in backstage theatre, particularly on the technical side of things in terms of lighting and sound, (I see it just like painting, but in a new medium). I have attended Crew Class by Simon Lovelace and have an IPAF operators licence 3a 3b.
