New Old Friends formed in 2008 as the pioneers of Theatre Royal Bath's egg theatre's Young Premieres scheme. Their goal is, and has always been, to make entertaining new theatre that fills auditoriums with happy audiences.

Since their debut, Mate, the company have established themselves as one of the South West's most consistently funny producers of new work with works including The Happy Couple, Sketchy at Best, Anti-Panto (which broke box office records at Bath's Rondo theatre in 2010), and Silly Songs of Shakespeare.

Both artistic director Feargus Woods Dunlop and company manager Heather Westwell regularly perform character comedy with The Natural Theatre Company and dotComedy. This work has seen them make people laugh all over the world; Shanghai, Melbourne International Comedy Festival (where Feargus also performed stand-up) and at Montreal Just For Laughs.

After finishing earlier this year their first National tour with Silly Songs of Shakespeare, New Old Friends are starting their next big project which is an adaptation of Anthony Horowitz' book The Falcon's Malteser, which will be on tour in 2014.
