• Please remember there will be auditions for a brand new play, THE BET, on 3rd Feb, 2-5pm at The Old Library Centre, 14-16 Knights Hill, London, SE27 0HY.
  At the moment there are three parts we are auditioning for:
  
  Title: Grace
  Description: PLAYING AGE:16-21, GENDER: FEMALE, ETHNICITY: Black British/ Black African/ Black Carribean/ Black other
  In the middle of a gap year, she is a classically beautiful young woman who appears to be confident and full of attitude. She’s a party girl who gets all the guys but at home she’s living in the shadow of her extremely intelligent younger sister who their single father adores. She has become an attention seeker as a result and is often very immature. She seems to lack a lot of self respect.
  
  Title: Joy
  Description: PLAYING AGE:16-18, GENDER: FEMALE. ETHNICITY: Black British/ Black African/ Black Carribean/ Black other
  In the middle of the first year of sixth form, she is a beautiful young woman but doesn’t know it. She dresses down to avoid attention and is extremely intelligent. She’s very shy but is not afraid to manipulate her dad if she wants something as she knows he dotes on her. She believes she is the reason her mother killed herself, which is the root of her own insecurity as a woman. She seems to be on the edge of madness.
  
  Title: Justin
  Description: PLAYING AGE:16-21, GENDER: MALE, ETHNICITY: Black British/ Black African/ Black Carribean/ Black other
  Current unemployed, on benefits and living with his mother, Justin is surprising a confident and seemingly fearless boy, an all round charmer. He’s used to getting the girls and gereally i considered by those around him as one of the lads. As a result he can be very immature, if given cause. He’s full of potential but often does not exercise it. He lacks a strong father figure and any real ambition. He has not really learnt how to be a ‘man’. He is yet to learnt that people cannot hide from the consequences of their actions.
