I have a 1st class Hons degree in contemporary dance From London Contemporary Dance School, 2007 – 2010. I got the opportunity to become a Punchdrunk apprentice. Over that time I got to be part of the creation process and performances of Punchdrunk’s and the English National Opera’s “The Dutchess of Malfi". Since then I have worked for Punchdrunk, C-12 Dance Theatre, Bicycle Ballet and various other projects involving site specific dance, improvisation, physical theatre, voice, and contact work.

I'm very interested in choreography. My work “Hot Cassablancan Breakfasts", a collaboration with video artist Ben Perry, won the audience vote at the London Contemporary Dance Competition 2009. I really enjoy collaborations and have also worked with composer Nick Scott on an original composition for piano, violin and sounds from the dancer’s voices called “The Silent Musician”. This piece was performed at Guildhall and The Place theatre.

As a dancer I feel it is important to be mentally as well as physically stimulated in order to give an honest and moving performance. I have studied choreology which I think has really helped my performance quality by forcing me to understand exactly what the intention behind the movements I'm doing are, leading to a clearer experience for the audience. I'm very interested in film and mixed media works and would like to develop my skills in making video dance, but overall I am looking to experience as many things as possible.
