Hello! I'm a performer and director specialising in devised physical theatre which is playful, visually exciting and politically motivated. I make theatre which is stimulated by the world around me, both by my direct experience and by human connection. I enjoy work which uses means other than text to communicate meaning and so feel myself being drawn towards international work which uses a universal language of the body. I have a passion for clown and circus arts, and also get excited by new writing or old writing done in a new way.

As an Associate Artist with Plutot La Vie Theatre Company in Edinburgh I am currently receiving creative mentorship as a director, devisor and performer from Artistic Director, Tim Licata. Projects include Couldn't Care Less (co-production with Strange Theatre) as part of Luminate: Scotland's Creative Ageing Festival and Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival, the up-coming La Tragedie Comique and an evening of Clown Cabaret.

I am a co-founder of Scrapyard, a collaborative theatre project based in Edinburgh which challenges theatre practitioners from all disciplines to collaborate with new artists, take creative risks and create new and exciting work in a limited amount of time. Currently I am co-devising Torn with Faux Theatre, part of Manipulate Visual Theatre Festival and touring in 2014. I am also currently developing Sanitise, directed by Caitlin Skinner, a highly physical solo performance about sex and cleaning and one woman's relationship to both. Sanitise is supported by Arts Trust Scotland.
