I am an actress recently graduated from the Drama Centre London.
I am an enthusiastic and dedicated individual with a determination to succeed that I apply to every project I am invovlved in.
During my time at University I was an active part of the artistic life of the campus. I was a member of the Queen Mary Student Theatre Company and was lucky enough to be chosen by my peers to have a play a wrote and directed taken to Ediburgh Festival by the company in 2009. The Play was a great success and gain many favorable reviews, including one in The Scotsman where it was dubbed ' an ode to the strength of female friendship.'
During my final year at Queen Mary I became part of the Theatre Company committee, as such I worked tirelessly to open the Company up to a broader range of student and put on a wider range of work. My proudest moment was seeing the Harold Pinter festival I had organised come to fruition. The festival consisted of 10 plays taking place over one weekend, in various location around campus. I myself Directed 'One for the Road' for the festival as a piece of sight specific theatre, of which I was very proud. The peice was well recieved by the audience, as was the whole festival. My efforts were well rewarded when at the end of the year the Theatre Company itself won the Society of the year shield.
Also during 2010 I was lucky enough to be the co-founded of the Queen Mary Student TV Channel. After noticing a lack of oppertunity for students at QM to gain experience in the recorded medias outside thier degree subjects I approached the then VP Communications about how this could be rectified. After alot of hard work from a very small team we were able to secure the funding nessissary to launch the online channel.
For this hard work I was proud to be regognised by the Students and recieve a colours award for Services to the Students Union 2010.
