About me

Katia Kvinge is a Scottish BAFTA New Talent Award Nominated stand up comedian, actor and sketch performer as seen on BBC3, BBC Scotland, MTV and Channel 4 Music. Edinburgh Festival 2011- 2013 saw her complete sell out runs in The Edinburgh Revue Sketch Show and in 2014 she hit Edinburgh with her one woman ‘Karacters’ comedy show. Previously she appeared in the Edinburgh Award Nominated ‘Idiots of Ants’ show at the Pleasance (2009). After graduating with a BA Hons in Fine Art from Edinburgh College of Art, Katia went on to train in Acting and Clown with Philippe Gaulier (Mentor to Sacha Baron Cohen).

She is currently in the Los Angeles Second City conservatory and training at The Groundlings (Intermediate), UCB, iO and is in the process of writing her debut solo hour for the Edinburgh Fringe 2015
