I am an actor with a base in Glasgow and London who has worked professionally in TV, Film and Theatre. I spent some years in New York, where I trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and whilst working professionally, I often participate in, as well as lead workshops which deal with various areas of the craft. I am very focused on working within projects that strive to promote social change and an awareness through artistry. To tell stories that capture the heart of issues of importance and the relationships we have; both with each other and with ourselves. I have written poetry since the age of eleven, it was and still is my favoured outlet for making sense of things and the world around me. I recently progressed into playwriting and my first play, 'SHAFTED' was a co-written piece that was shortlisted for the Channel 4/Oran Mor Comedy drama award in 2013 and is currently being redeveloped. I am also writing my first solo piece, a one person play, 'CAN YOU SEE?' which will be part of a feature length documentary. Learning is continuous and my interest in other mediums continues to grow. Alongside acting and writing I have a strong interest in photography, art and filmmaking. I have a strong passion for anything that contributes to storytelling, fact or fiction.
