Julius Galacki received his MFA from the Playwriting program at the Yale School of Drama, his BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and another Masters degree from the interdisciplinary Gallatin School at NYU (with additional screenwriting classes at the UCLA Extension). His plays have been seen on Theatre Row in New York City, as well as in Philadelphia, New Haven, New Jersey, Hawaii and South Carolina. In Los Angeles area: at the El Portal Theatre, Academy of New Musical Theatre, Third Stage in Burbank, Abbott Kinney Gallery, M Bar, Brewery Arts Colony, Hothouse, the Berg Studio Theatre, etc. He often directs readings of his own work and for others. He wrote and directed the short film "First Night" which can be seen at the above Vimeo link. This film was nominated for Best Short in 2012 by the website Stay Tuned TV.
