I am a strong character actress, (trained at ALRA) and absolutely love doing comedy, and creating different characters, and really enjoy storytelling and doing character voices. I also really enjoy playing serious characters, and am passionate about discovering the emotional layers of a character, and constantly trying new things to find out how and why they behave.

Working previously with survivors of domestic violence, homeless people and ex-offenders has given me an insight and greater understanding of people and how they ‘tick’, which has really helped my acting, along with drawing on personal life experience.

I really enjoy working in a collaborative way, and love working with actors and directors to find new ways to do the scene, and to find out about the characters and their relationships, and when not acting I work as a script editor and dramaturg, working alongside writers and directors.

I have quite a lot of theatre experience, and also have done some short films and radio, and I am keen to get as much experience as I can.

I am also a classical singer, and regularly sing at weddings during the ceremony - and also at the reception. I am also an experienced jazz singer, and really enjoy a good jam session! My singing voice is very versatile - and I can sing many musical styles - from jazz to opera.
