About me

Jackinabox Productions was founded in 2011 with the commitment to produce adventurous, provocative and engaging work. The company creates both new writing as well as working with established scripts. Jackinabox successfully premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2011 with two innovative shows of varied genres and target audiences. Off the back of this success the company embarked on a national tour, including an Education Workshop schedule working within schools before presenting a reworking of Molière's 'Don Juan' and a new piece of writing '99.9 Degrees', to critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2012.   • We are a fledging theatre company with a lot of experience taking two plays, 'The Little Mermaid', an adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's classic fairytale, and Bryony Lavery's 'Stockholm', revealing a seemingly happy couple exposed to their real twisted existence, to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2011.
