Originally brought up in Malta, I have always admired how daring and original the theatre and film industry is in the UK, which is why I moved to London to be part of it.

Since there was no formal training available to me in Malta I decided I needed to get as much experience under my belt as possible and I dived into the semi-professional theatre scene there. This was coupled with a lot of reading, from Uta Hagen to Stanislavski.

Keen to put what I read about into pracitice I auditioned for every show I could and took part in five pantomimes at the Manoel Theatre, a few plays at St James Cavalier and two Shakespear plays at San Anton Palace Gardens. I also got involved in the budding film industry in Malta, and took part in many European and American films as an extra or featured extra.

All this experience paid off in the end, and I landed my first proper supporting role in the film AGORA, starring Rachel Weisz and directed by Alejandro Amenabar.

After all this, I went to New York where I enroled myself into the program at TVI Actors Center, where I got to work on my film technique and improvisation.

This was still not enough for me, so I decided to audition for drama schools here in the UK. After a difficult audition process from all the schools I went to East 15 Acting school, and graduated two years ago.

Since then I have worked on a number of my own projects and I am very keen to get as much experience as I can.

I'm a keen reader and TEDster in my free time, and go to the gym regularly.

I am a big David Lynch fan, and my favourite author is Terry Pratchett. A strange combination, but it works for me.
