About me

Salida Productions was formed in 2009 by Ed Hughes (actor, director and producer) and Michael Vale. Our first production was Romeo and Juliet with Astillero Tango Orchestra at the Mercury Theatre Colchester for which we were awarded a Stage One Bursary for New Producers. Our focus is producing International Theatre and Film using actors, musicians, dancers and writers from around the world to explore new ways of approaching classical and contemporary text.
Our current slate of upcoming work is a film of the Farmer and the Shepherd by Ronald McCants, two one man shows of Mayokovsky: The Slanting Rain by Andrew Rattenbury and George Formby, and a Brazilian version of Macbeth.

    I am a Brazilian actor from Bahia who has been living in London for the past 5 years. I am currently seeking to explore the opportunities within the Entertainment industry. Despite Portuguese being my mother tongue, my fluency in English and Spanish is one of the many other skills I feel would benefit me through my career. I believe that with the right opportunity, in a cosmopolitan city like London, I would have the chance to join my favorite field.
