About me

Originally from Australia, Dylan Trained at the Arts Academy (one of Australia's leading institutions) where he earned a bachelor of Performing Arts. Since completing his training Dylan has worked in the Theatre, Television, Film and has worked with many different groups of young people workshopping and creating/analyzing pieces of theatre. Dylan has also worked in education throughout the secondary and tertiary sector, often working with students who have special needs as a tutor for literacy and numeracy. in 2009 He co founded Controlled Chaos Theatre Company.

Controlled Chaos is committed to supporting up-and-coming performers, writers, directors, producers, and theatre makers of all types, and exposing them to the industry and the public at large.

Controlled Chaos launched in 2009 with 'Small Talk' by Matt Young, as part of the 2009 Melbourne Fringe Festival. This was followed by productions of William Shakespeare's 'The Tempest' directed by Dylan Lincoln and 'Life Around the Coffee Table' by Scott Jackson and Andy Roestenburg.

Late 2010 brought us 'The Man Under the Bed' by Matt Young, as part of the 2010 Melbourne Fringe. As well as the launch of our music theatre program with 'A Craftily Contrived yet Cunning Cabaret from Controlled Chaos' at The Butterfly Club.

2011 brought with it a deverse range of productions including two collaborations with 5pound Theatre for 'Miss Julie' and 'The Dumb Waiter', our second caberet evening, 'Delightful Delirium - An Evening of Delicious Madness', David Williamson's 'The Removalists', Reg Cribb's 'The Return', and Kelly Ryan's caberet 'Twinkle Twinkle: The Confessions of a Child Hating Children's Librarian.'
