I’m basically made up of a collection of jumbled thoughts, feelings, words and worlds and sometimes somewhere among that mess I find stories. I’m far from a perfect writer but if I think my passion creates a balance for my talent, which for a Cancerian is saying something nice. I still have a lot to learn about the craft and business side, more risks to take and more soul crushing rejection that I can’t avoid unless I quit. Un/fortunately this writing thing is an incurable disease.

I got into writing scripts, at first to experience different forms of writing in hopes of using the exercises to improve my novel writing skills. Then last year a web series came from having four friends perform one of the scripts for a young people’s workshop. I am learning a whole different side to creativity, it is definitely more heavy lifting than sitting in front of my computer stringing words together. I’m learning about the enduring story boarding of each shot, directing people and editing clips, and this is without having even filmed one scene of the WIP web series.

I would have loved to use several quotes by writers, life coaches and motivational speakers who seem to sum me up in a sentence because it would have been so much more eloquent and concise.
