I experiment with shape, colour and line to produce bespoke illustration, pattern design, portraiture and typography. I take inspiration from packaging, travel posters and contemporary design and create unique work by fusing traditional drawing techniques with digital technology.

My approach to design had initially been from an illustration perspective, though as a multi skilled and flexible individual, I am equally comfortable working from a more typographical approach as my work with iBooks demonstrates.

As a workshop facilitator, I deliver fun, creative workshops by establishing an informal, friendly atmosphere where people learn through a process of discovery. I am able to maintain control of small and larger groups and I have facilitated a wide variety of workshops to a diverse range of learners.
I have an extensive knowledge of materials, techniques and processes from narrative illustration to textiles, and a broad library of resource books, original worksheets and handouts to support all workshops.

I have had consistently good feedback from clients, I handle people with tact and sensitivity as demonstrated in my work with The Fostering Foundation and SAIL Pupil Referral Unit.
