Growing up, I was fascinated by art and design, this fascination quickly grew into a passion, and by the time I left school, I was determined to secure a career in the creative industries. Whilst studying I was given the unique opportunity to help set up English language programming for a French radio station called Nova Planet, I subsequently acted as resident reporter in London, covering arts events for The Culture Show. After my stint in radio, I spoke briefly on the BBC Radio 2 Arts Show with Claudia Winkleman in 2011.As a journalist I have penned articles, reviews and interviewed numerous creative individuals for many magazines and newspapers, including Menswear Style, The Untitled Magazine, The Hindu, 7th Man Magazine, and HELLO! Pakistan. I also blog for The Huffington Post and NRI Magazine.I’m equally fascinated with popular culture as I am with high culture, and have written about a wide variety of subjects, such as art, Bollywood, literature, fashion, music, business, advertising, design and theatre.I am involved with several digital publishing projects. I launched Nirvana Express in July 2012, a luxury magazine focusing on contemporary culture in Europe, America and South Asia, covering a broad sweep of subjects, from art and fashion to film and travel. The magazine features writers from Europe, America and India. In 2013, I began working with Bombay Super, a digital magazine that focuses on contemporary Indian culture, at home and abroad, mainly concentrating on film, fashion, music and the culture which it spawns. Although a U.S based magazine, Bombay Super has a global outlook, and taps into the pop culture zeitgeist.I’m always on the lookout for new and interesting projects to get involved with….
