I am a circus performer and trainer, along with a general interest in all things artistic and creative. I have been involved with the circus since I was twelve, as I grew up in a youth circus in Australia - The Flying Fruit Fly Circus. I have family in the UK and moved over to this side of the world a couple of years ago to further pursue my performing career. Both in Australia and over here I have done a huge variety of work, from working with large scale shows, small little cabarets, corporate gigs, collaborations with artists from other artforms, community engagement work, self-devised group and solo shows and acts. And that is part of the thing that I love, the variety. In the circus you can do so many different things, and you can use your skills in so many different ways for different audiences, different situations and interact with different people and different artforms.
I have now joined up with Massimiliano Rossetti and his company Lost In Translation Circus as a creative partner and producer. We are in the middle of several projects including the creation of an outdoor circus show of 4 people for street arts festivals. Very exciting. Check out our website - www.litcircus.com.
