A Central School of Speech and Drama graduate, designer, and co-director of theatre company Parrot in the Tank, associate artists at artsdepot.

After graduating with a first class degree in 2008, I started off my career in arts PR working for some fantastic theatre companies such as Fuel, BAC and Sound&Fury. Looking to work more on the production side of things led to me working in design, and I'm pleased to have finished my first feature film as production designer earlier this year - shot in the beautiful Dumfries and Galloway. As well as design I am the co founder and director of Parrot {in the} Tank, a London-based devising theatre company specialising in a visual approach to storytelling. Working with sound, lighting, music, text and performance, the company create landscapes and stories rooted in the dreamlike, the fantastic and the bizarre, weaving them into the tragedies of everyday life. Since forming in 2006 we have created a host of different works, and have performed at the artsdepot, Roundhouse, ICA, and the Arts Theatre, as well as tours across Europe. Our latest show 'Champagne Breakfast' received early performances at the artsdepot earlier this year, and will be developed for touring in 2012.
