Hi there!

My name is Amba Gayfer, and I'm a Nepali born British actress who is currently based in East London. My previous job experience includes Marketing Assistant for The Ecology Centre in Kinghorn, Fife and whilst I enjoy marketing - I plan to utilise this career in order to support my main passion which is acting and performing physical theatre!

My current memberships and training experience includes:
The National Youth Film Academy Course (2014) membership.
The National Youth Theatre Summer Acting Course (2014) membership.
Performer and programme assistant International physical theatre course, Lithuania in conjunction with IUGTE and the Russian Drama Theatre (2014)
International physical theatre worskshop, Austria supported by IUGTE (2013)
The University of Hull 2:1 degree BA (Hons) Drama and Theatre Practice (2010-2013)

My experience is predominantly in physical theatre and movement as an embodied form of art. I am very familiar with devising and working in a collaborative ensemble. I enjoy acting, creating choreography and performing physical theatre.

My ambition is to work in the arts sector as a performer, whether it is acting or movement, or even tv and film. In my opinion, travel is the best form of education and so I hope to be introduced to new experiences and learn different techniques and skills not only in the UK but also abroad wherever possible and when funds allow!

I am not motivated by money, it doesn't matter how small or large scale the project is - I simply love to perform and act and seek new auditions and opportunities available to me either in the UK or Internationally.
