I first started training as a dancer in my teenage years before reorientating myself towards the creative ‘back stage’ side of things when I moved back to Edinburgh to enrol at the University in 2011. I study Literature and History parallel to my artistic endeavours. Both subjects have helped enrich my projects providing ideas and material from diverse areas of interest.
Bilingualism and language play a strong part in my work as do questions surrounding identity, sexuality and the nature of performance.
My main aim is to incite creativity in my performers and collaborators, to create an environment that is safe to work in and that strives for innovation and bravery.
