Fascinated by the early pioneers of filmmaking and avant-garde works across cinema history my passion lies within experimental moving image work and an exploration of the surreal, the psychological and realities - both interior and exterior.
Notions of the "artist", the "self", "material" and the "creative process" are key ideas to my work and characters often allude back to the nature of the creative individual and the turmoil of crafting and producing "art".
Always full of creative energy and ideas for short experimental sequences and a desire to make gritty hard-hitting documentaries!
I love developing new ideas no matter what style or genre and would love to work in a role where i can visualise and construct sequences for peoples briefs and scripts as some sort of a visual-artist/camera-director.
I graduated from Aberystwyth University with a BAHonours in Film and Television Studies, and shall be commencing an MA at the University of Birmingham in Film and Television: Research and Production.
Based in the west-midlands but looking towards london in the future!
