I'm a theatre, film and TV script writer and an arts journalist. I'm more interested in exploring the human condition and ethics than politics, but I'm not afraid of tackling 'big' topics, which recently include mental illness, suicide and rape. Having said that, I don't believe that something has to be 'big' to be good or worthwhile, and more often than not I'm happy writing comedy and pure entertainment.I'm currently making my first short film and seeking a home for my first full-length play. Previously I've had a one-act play produced, and I've had a TV show in development. I've been writing my whole life, and script writing seriously for six years.
