I am a Fine Artist working primarily with the medium of films and projections to create immersive, conscious environments, contrary to the conventional cinematic experience. The psychological effects of watching films/television has a big influence on my practice, as I wish to explore the process of the subconscious state we process film in, and what potential this has on the spectator; to hypnotise, to persuade, to seduce.

I wish to bring a new consciousness to the cinematic experience as apposed to a conventional one; in where the spectator remains static and non-participatory. These themes are evoked through the filmic narrative of my videos, and the installation's sculptural form.

I am attracted to film's pliability and malleability. With such an abundance of this material in the world, I frequently roam the archives to restore forgotten documents, to new monuments. I believe a film is never completely complete; it is a material to be played with, and to live on with their new authors.
