I am a graduate of the MA Acting Programme at East15 and am working hard to survive in the professional acting industry. My passion for acting is driving me and I am excited to be persuing something that I am in love with. I am a full believer in creating and collaborating, and I am doing just that with my fellow East15er, Francesca McCrohon; we have been working on a play based on Capital Punishment, particular the effects it has on women. The idea began at East15 during our MA projects where we performed a piece that gave a voice to victims of the death penalty. We feel very strongly about this subject therefore are dedicated to creating theatre that can inspire and open the audiences eyes to a subject matter that has many secrets. After almost a year of improvisations, research, writing and rehearsals, we have a script we love, and our play 'And We'll Laugh at Gilded Butterflies' did a scratch showing at The Leicester Square Lounge Theatre on 22nd July 2012.Along with acting and writing, I do enjoy to dabble with presenting; please check out my BT Storyteller videos that creatively document the lead up to the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games.
