Whilst many organisations profess unqualified support for emerging artists, the NSDF is one of very few to practically achieve this aim. To say that exposure and mentoring from the NSDF has created the base for our careers would be an understatement. The support of this institution has proved invaluable, and to them I owe a massive debt. I regard it to be the premier national institution for the development of the country’s future theatre makers. For an organisation that asks for nothing from those it supports, but gives so much, everything must be done to safeguard the future of it for generations of theatre makers to come.
