Here at NYT we encourage all of the young people who take part in our work to fundraise to cover as many of their costs as they can. Every year, lots of young people organise a successful fundraising campaign for the costs of their acting or technical course. We believe that if you are a self-motivated individual with passion and drive, you can succeed in doing this and we have a few things to help you on your way.
First, why don’t you watch our Quick Guide to Fundraising Video by clicking here
Then, have a good read of our 2013 Fundraising Guide, which is packed full of information about how to approach your own fundraising.
The NYT Bursary Fund
If you are experiencing difficulty when you have exhausted all of your fundraising ideas, we do have a small Bursary Fund to which you can apply. An NYT Bursary is a non-repayable award given by NYT to a young person who needs financial assistance to take part in an NYT course, production or project. Bursaries are awarded on the basis of financial need.
