mac birmingham works with and supports regional, national and international artists.

mac birmingham offers creative development opportunities to emerging artists working in a variety of art forms, from dance company Keneish Dance to filmmaker Chadwick Jackson and spoken word artist Jodi Ann Bickley. Down By Law are a group of five young DJs from Birmingham who share a love of real hip hop music, and work with Breakin’ Out, mac birmingham’s celebration of urban culture. Mac birmingham has worked with photographer including Jack Spicer Adams, Joey Vivo and Matthew Westley, and commissioned young illustrators  such as PurpleDrankz and Jim O’Rourke.
