D’ya wanna make films? Then wrap your celluloid dreams around the Roundhouse Online Film Fund.

This brilliant bursary will give three emerging filmmakers everything they need to transform their online film idea into reality: a £400 production budget, the use of equipment and facilities, and mentoring from the Roundhouse. 

That’s right – you’ll get four months, £400 and access to equipment to create your own short film showcased on the Roundhouse’s YouTube channel – as well as on IdeasTap, of course. And that film can be anything you like, from narrative to animation, documentary to video art, even a multi-camera shoot in the Roundhouse Studios.

The films must be no longer than 5 minutes and deliverable in four months, within budget and specifically designed for online viewing.

The judges are looking for: 

• An exciting, innovative and highly visual treatment.
• A strong concept for a short film, animation, documentary, video art or multi-camera live broadcast using the Roundhouse facilities.
• Proposals specifically conceived and created for online audiences, using new filming techniques and experimenting with online in innovative ways.
• Projects that utilise the broadcast expertise and facilities at the Roundhouse.
• Proposals that will develop the filmmaker’s skills and experience and help them progress their career – receipt of the fund should help them take their work to the next level.
