Description

We’re offering 120 actor members the chance to take part in a three-hour masterclass on audition technique and monologue advice, delivered by casting director extraordinaire Polly Jerrold.  

There will be six sessions over three days, with 20 IdeasTap members attending each session. They will take place at IdeasTap on 25, 26 and 27 February 2014. There will be two groups per day. The first will run from 10.15am till 1.15pm, and the second will run from 2.15pm till 5.15pm. During these three-hour slots, each member will receive…  

These sessions are intended for actors in the early stages of their careers, but are also suitable for those who have queries about monologue technique and how to best present themselves in an audition.  

The winners of this brief will be announced on Friday 21 February 2014. All winners will be sent an Eventbrite link asking them to book a place on their preferred session date and time.  

About Polly Jerrold

Polly Jerrold is a London-based freelance casting director who is about to cast a new play by Rachel De-Lahay for the Birmingham Repertory Theatre. Prior to going freelance, Polly was Casting Associate at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester from 2008 to 2013.
