Are you a budding actor? Would you like to be mentored by a BAFTA-winner? Hold onto your hats…

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for up to 10 IdeasTap actor members to receive career advice and mentoring from Andrew Scott (Sherlock, The Town, Dates) over a six-month period.

Andrew and IdeasTap will select a company of 10 members and create a bespoke programme of mentoring sessions around their needs, including audition and industry masterclasses, one-to-one consultations, free headshots, showreel clips (professionally shot and edited) and CV reviews. This programme is due to commence in September 2013.

The selected 10 will also have their travel expenses reimbursed where necessary.

Here's how it'll work:

• Up to 30 respondees will be invited to attend an informal audition technique masterclass, and Q&A, with Andrew in September. 
• After the session, the attendees will be asked to upload a monologue to their IdeasTap portfolio. 
• IdeasTap will then select 10 of the attendees to be take part in the opportunity.

This opportunity is open to anyone aged 18 and over, but it’s imperative that you can demonstrate a commitment to performance – for example, through a local drama club, university, vocational drama training or youth theatre. This commitment will be evident from the CV you upload as part of your application.

This brief closes on Monday 2 September 2013 at 12pm and is open to IdeasTap members aged 18 and over on the closing date.
