This is your chance to attend and report on this top TV opportunity - The Network at Media Guardian Edinburgh International Television Festival
Fancy representing us at Edinburgh TV Festival’s highly acclaimed scheme The Network?
This exclusive annual event is in its 20th year, giving emerging TV talent a chance to meet and work with some of the industry’s most influential names. 3,000 hopefuls aged 18+ applied to take part in the intensive programme of masterclasses and workshops.
Delegates learn from leading creative industry figures ranging from scriptwriters to producers, presenters to publicists, programme schedulers to commissioning editors.
We're looking for two people to spend four days in Edinburgh at this year's Network event. We'll give each of you a press pass which will allow you entry to all of the event and a chance to interview some of the most influential executives and professionals working in television today. In return we want you to keep a regular blog on IdeasTap, keeping us up to date with all the latest action and insights from the event.
Past contributors have included Sharon Osbourne, Russell T Davies, Charlie Brooker, Sir Trevor McDonald, Simon Amstell, Vernon Kay, Jana Bennett, Director of BBC Vision, Tim Hincks, Chief Executive, Endemol and Jon Snow.
The Network takes place between 26 and 29 August 2010 so you'll need to be available for the whole four days (including some evenings). You must pay your own accommodation and travel expenses.
