Description
Actors! Are you looking for advice about getting cast in commercials?
Spotlight’s Casting Rooms & Studios Manager, Thom Hammond, is hosting a free Coping with Commercial Castings seminar for up to 30 of our members. Commercials are a good source of experience and remuneration for performers, and can often introduce them to a wider audience, both industry and public.
The session is designed to take attendees through the process of a commercial casting session, demystify unhelpful myths and offer handy tips on how to bag that next commercial casting. The seminar is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 7 March from 6.30 to 8pm at the Spotlight Casting Studios, 7 Leicester Place, London, WC2H 7RJ – so please make sure you can attend before applying.
Thom Hammond comes from a background in casting and acting. He has spent the last five years managing Spotlight's Casting Rooms & Studios, working with many of the UK's leading Casting Directors on commercial, film and television projects. Thom returns to casting in April as half of Hammond Cox Casting.
This is a great opportunity to increase industry awareness, improve your chances of finding work as an actor and to network with fellow IdeasTap members.
