Description

Performers of all kinds! Would you like to bring your show/act to one of London’s coolest venues? Would you like a one-week run and an 80:20 box office split? Well fancy that…

Our friends at Heritage Arts Company are currently organising their second VAULT Festival. We were all over the first one back in 2012 – you can find out more about it here

The upcoming festival will take place in late January 2014 over six weeks in an abandoned network of tunnels near Waterloo station. The will be a broad range of attractions on show, from drama to comedy, late-night gigs to special one-off events.

HAC are giving four shows a one-week run each in the tunnels – this would usually cost companies £500 each, but you’ll be getting the space free of charge! You will be able to make money on ticket sales, after paying the venue 20%. The brief-winning companies will also receive mentoring from HAC Artistic Director Tim Wilson.

So, what’s the space like? And how much could you potentially earn?

Studio: 90 seats x five shows per week x £5 tickets = £2,250 gross. After VAT and venues 20%, that's approximately £1,500 per company

Cage Upstairs: 50 seats x five shows per week x £5 tickets = £1,250 gross. After VAT and 20%, that's £830 to the company.

It’s up to you how much you charge for your tickets, but the HAC team advise against going below £5!

What are you waiting for? Download the floor plan here and let your imagination run wild…
