  1. The Brief
  2. How to respond

Description

Got a bright idea for a cutting edge new music night? We want to hear from you.

In 2012 London’s Roundhouse extended its emerging music festival, Roundhouse Rising, with the launch of a year-round programme of monthly nights. Now you could be one of the up-and-coming music programmers making it happen.

If successful, you will plan, manage and promote your own Rising event in the Roundhouse Studio Theatre, within a given budget. The Roundhouse music team will be on hand, providing expert mentoring and practical support.

To apply, submit your event proposal, plus details of your experience and why you’d like to take part. Your proposal should be innovative but achievable, showing you’ve thought about how to bring new audiences to the venue and are aware of the logistics involved in putting together a live music event.

For this brief we’re looking for events happening in October, November and January. We will re-open the brief again at a later date, calling for Roundhouse Rising events for the following months.

Roundhouse Rising is supported by STA Travel.

This brief closes at 5pm on Sunday 16 September and is open to IdeasTap members aged 16-25 on the closing date. If you have any technical queries, visit the help centre. Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances, including technical issues – so don’t leave your application to the last minute.
