Ideas Fund Innovators is our funding scheme open to all creative disciplines.

If you're aged between 16-25 and have got a creative project that could do with an injection of cash then apply today.

Innovators is now open all year round - so that’s four separate rounds of funding every year. Each of these rounds offers ten projects £1,000 each to help get them off the ground. If you want one of those projects to be yours, then follow the application process outlined below.

The current fund is open until 28th September, so make sure you get your entries in before then.

In the past we've funded everything from dance and film projects to music videos and photography collectives. Whatever creative field you work in, we'll consider your application - take a look at some previous winners.

We're looking for projects that are inspiring, original, innovative and that we think you can realistically deliver and we'll be inviting a panel of expert judges to pick their favourites.

If you're thinking of applying to this brief, why not join the Ideas Fund group where you can talk to other applicants, ask questions, discuss your ideas, and be the first to find out about future rounds of funding?

Okay, so there is a boring bit. It's really important that you read the terms and conditions before applying. In the last round several brilliant projects made themselves ineligible due to really simple mistakes. To read the Ts&Cs in full click here, and for now, here are the highlights:

  • You must be between 16-25 to apply for this brief.
  • We love to see our members collaborating, so if you're a group then that's great, but one person will need to take the lead on the application. They will need to submit the application as an individual and they will be our first point of contact if your application is successful.
  • Your project must take place between November 2010 - March 2011. If your project takes place outside of these dates then sadly it will be ineligible for this round of funding.
  • When submitting a response to this brief, you have to have a photo on your profile page. It doesn't need to be a headshot and you won't be judged on the quality of your photo - as with all briefs on the site you have to have a profile photo to be eligible. We also want to see examples of your previous work and get a sense of who you are, so please make sure that you've added content to your portfolio. If you don't have a photo, or if your portfolio is empty, your application will be disqualified.

This brief closes at 5pm on 28th September. We will not consider late applications under any circumstances, including technical difficulties, so it's a good idea to allow yourself plenty time to get your application uploaded, and a bad idea to call us crying when you miss the deadline.
