Description
We’ve got two pairs of tickets to give away for this year’s Wilderness Festival, which takes place from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 August. We’re looking for a writer and a photographer to head into deepest, darkest Oxfordshire and report back to IdeasMag. Both winners get a plus one.
Musically, the festival will host Rodrigo y Gabriela, Wilco, Spiritualized, Stornoway, Willy Mason, Jake Bugg and more. There’ll also be theatre from The Old Vic Tunnels, Oxford Playhouse, Creation and The Factory. On each night you will be able to gorge on food cooked by multi-award-winning chefs, engage your brain with talks and debates from Granta, The Idler and Oxford University, and take part in a whole host of other cool things. Find out more on the official website.
UPDATE 02/07/12: This year Wilderness Festival is incorporating Vintage Festival. This has meant that we've had to delete our Report from Vintage Festival brief. However, if you win this brief you'll now have even more exciting things to see and do. Find out more here.
After the festival, the winning writer will need to submit a 500-word review for IdeasMag, while the photographer will provide a photo essay (five photos) about your time at the festival.
The brief closes on Friday 3 August at 5pm and is open to IdeasTap members aged 16 and over. If you have any technical queries, please visit our Help Centre. Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances, including technical issues – so make sure you don’t leave your application to the last minute.
