Description

Okay, so we’ve been banging on about how much we’ve changed all over the site, but we’re really, really excited about the new IdeasTap. To show you just how great a bit of reorganisation can be we’re running an unusual Editor’s Brief this month.

We’re offering £500 for the person with the most interesting IdeasTap portfolio, plus £100 each for three runners up. All the winners will then be featured in an article in the Magazine.

If you’re one of the 24,000 people who were registered on the old IdeasTap, then all of your work has been carried over to the new site. But you’ll find it could do with a bit of organising to really show it off. We’re looking for people to make use of the new ability to create “sets” (find out more about how to get the most from your portfolio here).

It doesn’t matter what medium you work in or whether you work in more than one. If you’re a writer, don’t worry that your portfolio won’t look as immediately pretty as a photographer’s, we’ll be bearing all of this in mind. It’s about being creative with the way you show off your work.

This will be judged 50:50 on the quality of your work and your creative use of the new portfolio functionality. What are you waiting for?
